About “The Uplifting Sound Of An Epiphanic Awakening…” Vinyl:
On November 19, 2011, Your Favorite Enemies released “The Uplifting Sound Of An Epiphanic Awakening…” DVD, documenting the band’s first China tour and featuring their performance at the Shanghai MIDI Festival, a concert still considered by several Chinese music pundits and observers as one of the most iconic shows to have ever been performed in the country.

Therefore, in order to celebrate what has been a defining and pivotal moment in Your Favorite Enemies’ history, the band members decided not only to make “The Uplifting Sound” concert available for the very first time on vinyl, but to entirely remix and remaster the performance themselves, marking such a significant anniversary by sharing their personal and intimate sonic perspectives on a limited and collectible engraved vinyl.

The “Uplifting Sound” collector vinyl edition is handmade at YFE’s HQ, using the lathe cut technique on heavyweight 180g vinyl for the best possible hi-fi sound quality, to ensure the ultimate audiophile experience. This unique vinyl is housed in a handmade silkscreen inner sleeve and jacket, and comes with 4 limited collector hand-signed and numbered silkscreen posters.

“The Uplifting Sound” is Your Favorite Enemies’ second personal project to be released on the band’s limited and collector vinyl edition collection “Spin It ’Til It Bleeds”.

À propos du vinyle “The Uplifting Sound Of An Epiphanic Awakening…” :
Le 19 novembre 2011, Your Favorite Enemies a sorti “The Uplifting Sound Of An Epiphanic Awakening…”, documentant la première tournée en Chine du groupe et incluant leur concert au MIDI Festival de Shanghai, un concert encore considéré aujourd’hui par plusieurs experts chinois et observateurs comme un des concerts les plus iconiques à avoir jamais été donné dans le pays.


C’est pourquoi, pour célébrer ce qui a été un moment déterminant et une pierre angulaire dans l’histoire de Your Favorite Enemies, les membres du groupe ont décidé de non seulement rendre “The Uplifting Sound…” disponible pour la toute première fois en vinyle, mais de remixer entièrement et remasteriser le concert eux-mêmes, marquant cet anniversaire en partageant leurs perspectives personnelles et intimes sur un vinyle de collection en édition limitée.


Le vinyle de collection “The Uplifting Sound…” est fabriqué à la main au QG de YFE, avec l’utilisation de la technique lathe cut sur un vinyle de 180g pour la meilleure qualité de son hi-fi, pour assurer une expérience sonore ultime. Ce vinyle unique se trouve dans une pochette en sérigraphie fabriquée à la main et dans laquelle sont insérés 4 posters de collection imprimés eux aussi en sérigraphie, signés à la main et numérotés.


“The Uplifting Sound” est le second projet personnel de Your Favorite Enemies à paraître sur la collection de vinyle en édition limitée “Spin It ’Til It Bleeds”.
