About “Tokyo Sessions”:
“Tokyo Sessions” is a brightened balance of post-punk, shoegaze, nu-prog and psych rock, and it offers the perfect canvas to the blend of lyrical poetry and spoken word that is on the album. Inspired by the emotional moment the band has experienced in Tokyo, the sound of the album is closer to the widened scale of human sensations associated with a theatrical play than the usual monochromatic shades of a rock album.

Following the journey of “Between Illness and Migration”, “Tokyo Sessions” is the vivid and definite incarnation of an album that has been an evolving journey of its own.

The album primarily consists of a complete new interpretation, incarnation and production of every song that constitutes the original version of “Between Illness and Migration” and includes the new songs “Satsuki Yami (My Heartbeat)”, “Underneath a Blooming Skylight”, “Anyone” and “Yūnagi”.

“Tokyo Sessions” est un équilibre magistral de post-punk, nu-prog et psych rock, et il offre la toile parfaite à l’alliance de poésie et de spoken-word qui se retrouvent sur l’album. Inspiré des émotions vécues lors d’un concert à Tokyo, le son de l’album se rapproche davantage de l’éventail humain des sensations déclenchées lors d’une pièce de théâtre plutôt que des teintes monochromes habituelles d’un album rock.



Suivant le voyage de “Between Illness and Migration”, “Tokyo Sessions” est la vive incarnation et conclut le voyage d’un album qui aura su voyager et voler de ses propres ailes.


L’album est majoritairement constitué d’une nouvelle interprétation, nouvelle incarnation et nouvelle production de chacune des chansons qui forment la version originale de “Between Illness and Migration”. “Tokyo Sessions” inclut aussi les nouvelles chansons “Satsuki Yami (My Heartbeat)”, “Underneath a Blooming Skylight”, “Anyone” et “Yūnagi”.
