About the Silkscreen Poster “When the Night Is Over”
The tour “Lights Stretching Over Sorrows”, for which this poster has been designed, was the first time Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows got back on stage after the pandemic that has affected us all in so many different ways. After such uncertain times, light felt needed even more than it was before, and so was the deep human connection that can only be found in that state through live music.
About the design, Joe Mruk said: “The workhorse carries a lighthouse strapped to its back, reins dragging behind it, sort of “seeking. The horse is persevering through the slog of a muddy river, and the lighthouse represents a beacon of hope or of way-finding.”
The poster features the lyrics from the song “The Love That Moves (The End Is Beginning)” on the back and is signed by Alex.

À propos du poster en sérigraphie “When the Night Is Over” :
La tournée "Lights Stretching Over Sorrows", pour laquelle ce poster a été créé, fut la première où Alex Henry Foster & The Long Shadows sont remontés sur scène après la pandémie qui nous a tous affecté de plusieurs façons différentes. Après une période si incertaine, la lumière semblait être encore plus nécessaire qu'avant, ainsi que la profonde connexion humaine qui ne peut se trouver que dans cet état à travers la musique sur scène.
À propos du design, Joe Mruk a dit : "Le cheval de trait porte un phare attaché à son dos, les rênes traînant derrière lui, dans une sorte de recherche. Le cheval persévère dans la traversée d'une rivière boueuse, et le phare représente une lueur d'espoir ou une façon de trouver son chemin."
Sur le poster se trouvent les paroles de la chanson “The Love That Moves (The End Is Beginning)” au dos et il est aussi signé par Alex.
